Description
Black Bitumen Paint is a solvent-based, full-bodied bitumen coating that provides effective waterproofing, weatherproofing and corrosion protection. Once dry, it forms an odourless, taint-free and durable bitumen film, making it suitable for protecting a wide range of building and construction surfaces against water and weather attack.
The product is fast-drying and suitable for application to most common building materials. It provides a protective coating that is resistant to low concentrations of acids and alkalis and can withstand prolonged oxidation.

Typical Applications
Metal Protection
Suitable for protecting corrugated iron sheets, fire escapes, stairways, ladders, storage tanks, gutters, downpipes, fences, railings, gates and other metal surfaces against corrosion and weathering.
Concrete, Brick & Stone Protection
Provides a durable protective and waterproof coating for concrete structures, stone, brick, concrete screeds and sand/cement surfaces.
Roofing Felt & Wood
Suitable for overcoating and protecting roofing felt and wooden surfaces against moisture and weather attack.
Important Information
- Do not use in areas where subsequent contact with solvents is likely.
- Do not use for potable drinking-water tanks.
- Suitable for metal, rubber, wood and plastics.
